5 Star Day: An Anti Smoking Movie

"5 star day" is a fantastic film about seizing life and fulfilling your own destiny, instead of following within the confines set by one's self. Whether the reasoning be inflicted from the restraints of societal norms, one's own expectations since childhood, or, as exemplified in the movie, a written out script like astrology, one can find personal justice and freedom in making their own choices.
An absolutely liberating movie.

Though I also found an underlying story line in smoking cessation. When the main character's life goes to shambles, he finds temporary solace in cigarettes. Yet as anyone can see, it is a small, temporary pleasure that has such grave results. Throughout the movie smoking seemed to be a symbolism for escape. As if it were something unwanted, yet the character succumbed to the acceptance that it was just another addition to the unfavorable aspects of his life. Though never making the changes to truly escape from what is unfavorable. It is so common that I witness people (as well as myself) smoking as a temporary escape from their day and present situation. With all the known side effects, combined with the above lesson, why the fuck would anyone continue? Well, excuse the cheeseballin, but I'm going to commit tomorrow, and hopefully more days to come, to a 5 star day.

Build your own galaxy.
